In need of a one-stop shop for nice handmade jewelry, antiques and home decor items? Imagine — the new furniture and decor store in Woodlands Plaza at 7203 Sheridan Road in White Hall — is the place.

Imagine was started by Michael Butts, Kaye Failla and Linda Hayes, who brought their collective 21 years of experience together to make a unique furniture and decor store. Imagine has everything one can "imagine," including new pieces, antique pieces, unique pieces and accessories. Imagine even sells watercolor art made by Arkansas artists.

Butts started making his own jewelry a couple of years ago after retiring from his job after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

"My doctor told me to find something to keep myself busy but something that involved using my hands," Butts said, "so I started stringing beads together and started making jewelry."

Butts started selling his jewelry at local church fairs and eventually got a booth at the Red Barn Antiques and Flea Market in Pine Bluff. After a little time at Red Barn, Butts decided that he was going to expand into furniture. While at Red Barn, Butts met his other two business partners, Failla and Hayes, and they decided to go into business together.

"What sets us apart is that we all like unique things," Butts said. "We all bring something to the store and we are very proud of it."

Imagine’s owners take pride in being able to offer the most unique and beautiful pieces to their clients. Their selection ranges from riverside furniture to antiques and estate pieces.

"We search long and hard for all our unique pieces," Failla said. "We want to offer the most unique items to our clients."

"We have drawn clients from all over the state," Hayes said. "People want to come here to see the unique things we have here."

In need of decorating help? Don’t worry, Failla makes house calls and uses her professional decorating and staging skills to add a dash of "imagination" to homes at $35 a hour.

"Try our store before the big name stores," Failla said. "Our quality is better and our prices are better."

"We all have fun and love what we do," Failla said. "That’s what makes this place special."

The store’s grand opening will be Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13, with the ribbon cutting on Friday, Sept. 12.

Imagine’s hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The store’s number is 870-540-7078.
