Pine Bluff police have identified two suspects who are wanted in connection with the Saturday shooting of Terrance Brooks, who later died at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Lt. David Price said Markevious White, 20, and Joseph Campbell, 20, also known as Jo-Jo, are wanted for capital murder and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Brooks, 24, was shot after he was involved in a reported altercation with a male in the front yard at 2001 W. 29th Ave., at approximately 2:52 p.m. Saturday.

When police arrived, they found Brooks bleeding inside a vehicle and he was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The unknown male suspect left the scene running on foot.

On Saturday, Price said the suspects may have left the scene in a gray vehicle but said in a later press release that that vehicle was not involved and it is unknown what type of transportation the suspects may be using.

White is a black male, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. Campbell is a black male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

A motive for the shooting has not been determined.

Anyone with information about White or Campbell should contact the Detective Division at 730-2090, or the dispatch center at 541-5300. All calls will be kept confidential.
