On Monday, police released the names of Markevious White, 20, and Joseph Campbell, also known as “Jo-Jo,” also 20, who were identified as suspects, and also said they should be considered armed and dangerous.

Brooks, 24, was found bleeding inside a vehicle after police responded to a report of shots fired at 2001 W. 29th Ave., at approximately 2:52 p.m. Saturday. Brooks was taken to Jefferson Regional Medial Center by ambulance and pronounced dead by a doctor in the Intensive Care Unit at 7:10 p.m.
