DUMAS — Mr. Lee O. Everett, 59 of Dumas died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Delta Memorial Hospital. Born August 8, 1954 in Monroe, La. (Ouachita Parish), he was a son of the late Savell Everett, Sr. and Viola Covington. He was a member of St. Peter Rock MBC in Dumas serving as a Deacon, and usher. He was also a retired employee of Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Everett of Dumas; one son, Kareem Everett of Dumas; three brothers, Savell Everett, Jr. and Anthony Everett both of Pine Bluff, Clyde Everett of Little Rock, and one sister, Mary Everett of Arlington, Texas.


Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at St. Peters Rock Baptist Church in Dumas with Rev. Larry Alexander officiating. Burial will be in New Light Cemetery at Tillar by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. The body will lie in repose at the church on Saturay from 10 a.m. until time of service.
