CLERMONT, FLORIDA — A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Lynn Allen Smith, 67, of Clermont, Fla., passed away at his home February 23, 2014 after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born July 22, 1946 in Stuttgart, Ark. and graduated from Dollarway High School in 1964.

CLERMONT, FLORIDA — A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Lynn Allen Smith, 67, of Clermont, Fla., passed away at his home February 23, 2014 after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born July 22, 1946 in Stuttgart, Ark. and graduated from Dollarway High School in 1964.


He moved to Florida to pursue a successful career in the timeshare industry where he became an icon earning numerous awards and recognition. Lynn never met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face and a story to brighten the day. He had a passion for golf and loved the buddies he met through the game.


Lynn is survived by his wife, Dora Faye Smith of Clermont; daughter Lori Smith Brown of Grantville, Ga.; grandchildren Michael and Karyssa Son; mother Jessie Wyvetta Smith of Pine Bluff, Ark.; sisters Theresa Orso and husband Marvin of Pine Bluff; Connie Morgan and husband Gary of Sheridan, Ark.; and brother Neil Smith and wife Nancy of Pine Bluff; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father James Smith and brother Lawton Smith.


A memorial service, officiated by Brother Tom Hart and Brother Todd Anderson, at Summit Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Ark., will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 3 p.m. Memorials can be made to The Building Fund at Summit Baptist, 901 Ridgway Road, Pine Bluff, Ark. 71603.
