To some, Christmas is a time of sharing gifts with family and friends. Others see Christmas as commercialism and nothing about the birth of Jesus Christ.

No one knows for sure the day or date of the birth of Jesus. But, you can be sure He was born of a virgin to save people from their sins.

Many disagree about the tree, toys, lights, decorations and giving gifts. Let us stop the charade and see the tree (the Cross) where Jesus suffered and died for our sins.

See the lights representing Jesus as the light of the world. The gifts as Jesus – God’s greatest gift to all mankind.

As a Christian I do not spell Christmas as Xmas. This leaves Christ out. Look at it this way, Christ M (My) A (Almighty) S (Savior) Christmas.

The beautiful decorations on the homes and throughout the city remind me of a birthday celebration where all are invited to come. There is joy, family, feasting, fellowship, gifts and singing about the one who deserves all the praise, honor, and glory, Jesus the Son of the Living God. It is His day.

Remember, Jesus came into the world to save you. Why not receive Jesus as your Savior today? Happy birthday Dear Jesus. Merry Christmas everybody and to all a good night!
