Healing belongs to you. That’s right, healing is your promise from God. It was and still is in the Redemptive Plan of God. In John 10:10 it is written, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”
The devil comes to steal the Word of God from you. He does it in many ways — through doubt, unbelief, how you feel, and not listening to the Word as it is being taught.
The devil comes to destroy your mind and body through negative talk and thoughts, what you eat and drink and how you neglect to take care of your body. Also, he comes to destroy your reputation by those who will lie on you. His ultimate goal is to kill you by any means necessary.
That’s why we are told in the book of James 4:7, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
Take a look here at what God’s Word says in 1 Peter 5:8-9, “Be sober (clear-headed, watch, self-controlled), be vigilant (be on guard, awake, watchful), because your adversary (enemy, opponent) the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (swallow up, drown, overwhelm).
“Resist him, steadfast (standing firm, strong) in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”
Now, remember the devil is coming and now you know his purpose and intent. But thanks be to God John 10:10 didn’t stop there. Look out here comes Jesus! To complete that verse Jesus said, “I have come that they (you) may have life, and that they (you) may have it more abundantly.”
The word “abundantly” means, more than, exceeding, going beyond, full, advantage, greater.
Jesus is saying to us that He came to give us eternal life at this present time and that while we are still on this earth our lives should be more, full, exceeding, and greater than the person that does not know Him (Jesus) as Lord and Savior. Jesus is telling us that we can walk in divine health because He has given to us everything that pertains to life and godliness. He told us that it was His good pleasure to give us the Kingdom. Here is more, that he has made us Kings and Priests to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Sickness does not come from God as some say when they are sick, “I guess God is trying to teach me something.” That’s a lie from the pits of hell. God teaches us from His Word. The bible says let God be true and every man a liar. In God’s Word in Isaiah 53:11, the question is asked, “Who has believed our report?” I believe the report of God given in the entire chapter of Isaiah 53, read it for yourself.
In the 3rd Epistle of John verse 2 it says, “Beloved (you and me), I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
It’s yours, healing belongs to you and me! Glory, Hallelujah, Amen, Amen!!
