Let’s go into 2018 with a praying spirit, with a positive attitude, hopeful, optimistic and with a mind-set believing things are going to be better in Pine Bluff in 2018.
The bible tells us in I Thessalonians 5:17, pray without ceasing, let us pray daily for the city of Pine Bluff. The bible also tells us in Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” So as we pray, let us do so believing for a better Pine Bluff in 2018.
Let’s pray that God in 2018 will bless each of our lives, that positive things will be bestowed on each of our lives in 2018.
Let’s pray that God in 2018 will especially bless the least of these our brothers and sisters, the homeless and the hungry among us, that God would bless the sick, the shut-in and the elderly.
Let’s pray that God in 2018 will bless those in positions of leadership in the city of Pine Bluff, in such areas as religion, politics, business, health, education, city government and, that they will provide good, solid and sound leadership.
Let’s pray that God in 2018 will bless our parents, that they will strive to be the parents God is calling them to be.
Let’s pray that God in 2018 will in a special way bless our children, who are so vulnerable, with a desire to be all that God is calling them to be and that God will protect them from all hurt, harm and danger.
Let’s pray that God in 2018 will bless Pine Bluff with more meaningful jobs.
Let’ pray that God in 2018 will instill in each of us, a desire to fight against crime and violence in Pine Bluff.
Let’s pray that God in 2018 will instill in each of us a desire, to help clean up Pine Bluff and the will to keep our city clean.
My basic pray is that in 2018 God will open our eyes in the city of Pine Bluff, to see the need to get more involved with efforts to better our city. That more of us will come to realize the harsh reality is, if we who live in Pine Bluff don’t see the need to better our city, then who will.
God is speaking to each of us in II Chronicles 7:14 saying, “if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”
God, we need your spirit in Pine Bluff; I pray that God in 2018, will use each of us in mighty ways, to better the city of Pine Bluff.
