Pine Bluff High School Lunch Bunch Class of 1954 met in December for the Christmas outing at the Pine Bluff Country Club.

Pine Bluff High School Lunch Bunch Class of 1954 met in December for the Christmas outing at the Pine Bluff Country Club.

Everyone agreed the food was good and everyone had a good time, according to a spokesman.

In January, the group traveled to The Country Store on U.S. 63 South for hamburgers, fish and French fries.

For February the ladies enjoyed a pizza buffet and salad bar at Pizza Posh on Second Avenue and Main Street. The pizza was hot and delicious as they brought it around to the tables, a spokesman said. The spokesman said everyone agreed that going to Pizza Posh was a wonderful idea.

The month of March the group is headed to Beaucoups Cajun Restaurant. The menu includes Cajun burgers, shrimp and oyster Po-boys, Cajun fries and a variety of other dishes and desserts, including brownies, ice cream and bread pudding.

Those attending these outings were Helen Crossett Atchison, Freda Montgomery Council from Little Rock, Loretta Troublefield Culp, Barbara Hunt Fels, Janice Adams Goodman, Suzanne Hamilton Hulse, Rosalyn Finkbeiner Jones, Maxine Thomas Malone, Barbara Jacks Payne, Carol Wilcockson Smith, Phoebe Curry Sparhler, Hilda Reed Stafford, Barbara Vick Voris, Alpha Hopkins and Shirley Massengale Langley, all of Pine Bluff.
