The Pine Bluff National Bank Crown Club recently held a luncheon celebrating Valentine's and birthdays at the Masonic Temple.

The Pine Bluff National Bank Crown Club recently held a luncheon celebrating Valentine’s and birthdays at the Masonic Temple.

The tables were decorated with silver hearts, red rose petals and the glow of candlelight. A sack of valentine candies was placed at each place setting for the members.

The sweetheart meal consisted of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls, green beans, fruit cup, garden salad and a selection of delicious homemade desserts.

After lunch, there were prizes, prizes and more prizes. Those celebrating January and February birthdays were Jackie Barringer, Bobbie Bullock, Voy Weatherford, Billy McGriff, Ella Jo Abernathy, Katherine Hamilton, Barbara Payne and Sue Smith. Voy won the $50 for January and Smith won $50 for February.

Marzee Weatherford won the free dinner and Bobby Barringer was the winner of the Crown Club tote bag. Other door prize winners of a red heart shaped box of Russell Stover candy were Voy, Thomas McCarroll, Barbara Payne, Jackie, Rose Akenhead, Linda Minyard and Billy McGriff.

Crown Club director Cindy Whitwell concluded the luncheon with announcements of upcoming tours that are still available, which include the Oklahoma Cowboys and Indians fall motorcoach tour and the five-day New York City Christmas tour.
