The Pine Bluff Community Band will present a concert at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the dining hall of Trinity Village, 6400 Trinity Drive.

The program will include Big Band favorites “Tuxedo Junction,” “String Of Pearls,” and “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” The trumpets will be featured on “Bugler’s Holiday” with the trio parts being played by Richard Bailey, Garry Henson, and Keith Grimes. “Captain America March,” which was the background music to the popular movie, “Captain America”, is included in the program as well as the march entitled “Block M.”

The more contemporary part of the concert will highlight medleys — “Legends Of Rock” and “Selections from Chicago.” “Grace Praeludium” composed by the late W. Francis McBeth, internationally known composer and conductor from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, will be played in his memory. This composition hints of the hymn tune “Amazing Grace.”

The concert is free and open to the public.
