The Pine Bluff High School Class of 1960 met recently at Bonanza Steakhouse for its monthly get-together. The blessing was given by Arlie Langrell.

The Pine Bluff High School Class of 1960 met recently at Bonanza Steakhouse for its monthly get-together. The blessing was given by Arlie Langrell.

Those attending were Clyde and Sherry Caughman, Arlie and Barbara Rogers Langrell, Joe Hale, Jane Summerall Price and her brother, Wayne Price, Robert and Lenora Porter, Janice Helvie Tiner, Marie Brown Jones, Doug and Linda Smith, Mike Barbarotto, Bill and Norma Ridgway Ray.

There were memorial services given by Tiner, Doug Smith, Jane Summerall Price and Clyde Caughman for classmates David Finley, who died in Little Rock on Jan. 5, 2012, and Dale Lynn Norton Pierce, who died in Fort Smith Jan. 23, 2012. Memorials were given to the Humane Society from the class. Barbara Rogers Langrell gave the prayer for these and other classmates who are ill at this time.

The class voted on Lenora Porter for queen and Bill Ray for king for this year’s Valentine’s Day. They received a box of chocolate candy and a rose bud for being the class royalty for 2012.

The next get-together will be at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Bonanza Steakhouse on Olive Street. All classmates and friends are urged to come and enjoy the fun and fellowship, according to a class spokesman.
