ACCESS Inc., a teen pregnancy prevention agency, located at 200 W. 13th Ave., needs volunteers to serve in these capacities: Executive/administrative assistant who can volunteer 10 hours per week, child-care workers to watch children while parents participate in programs and volunteers to prepare food. The American Red Cross Southeast Arkansas Chapter announces Disaster Training classes for spring 2012. The classes include:

Client Casework — March 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Disaster Assessment Basic — March 27 from 6-9:30 p.m.

All classes are held at the Red Cross Training Room in the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Building, 211 W. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Pine Bluff and Jefferson County, a non-profit tax-exempt organization serves abused and neglected children throughout Jefferson County, needs volunteers to assist with the supervision of children, educational programs, and clerical duties. The Davis Life Care centers have many volunteer opportunities. For specific information call the activity departments at Davis Life at 541-0342, Davis East at 535-1155, Garden Pointe at 535-9283 and Whispering Knoll at 534-1583. Calls are accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Delta Rivers Nature Center needs volunteers to help with special programs such as the Quilting Show, Summer Plant Sale, Trail Tours, Boo on the Bayou and Christmas for the Birds.
