Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, is calling all "little princesses" ages 3 to 8 to compete in the Little Miss Pink and Green Pageant, which will be held Oct. 14 at 4:30 p.m. in the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Auditorium.

Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, is calling all “little princesses” ages 3 to 8 to compete in the Little Miss Pink and Green Pageant, which will be held Oct. 14 at 4:30 p.m. in the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Auditorium.

All interested parents will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the AKA Sorority House, No. 5 Watson Boulevard. A registration fee of $50 is also due at that time. No personal checks will be accepted. All proceeds from the pageant will be donated to charity.

This year’s theme is, “A Pearly Little Princess and the Frog”.

Myeshia Parker serves as chairman of the pageant committee, along with co-chairs, LaRhonda Davis and Rachel Tims. Other committee members are Jennifer Rowan, Adjowa Hogue, Rannika Jones, Crystal Jones and Diamond Ledet.

Jasmine Gaston is president and Rachel Hornbuckle is vice president of the chapter.
