Troop 569 of Indiana Street Baptist Church will hold a Court of Honor for four scouts at 4 p.m. Sunday at Old St. James Baptist Church, 1305 W. 16th Ave.

The four scouts are:

• Brandan Tre’Shun Bell — Brandan joined Troop 569 when he was 6 years old as a Tiger Cub and was active throughout his Cub Scout years. His Eagle Scout Project was a beautification/ landscaping project for TOPPS Inc., on West Second Avenue. He is a ninth-grade student at Watson Chapel Junior High School, where social science is his favorite subject. He is a member of the junior high football team and the Constitutional Law Team. He plans to attend Oklahoma City Technical College and major in diesel mechanic engineering and business with plans of becoming the co-owner and operator of B&B Contractors, LLC in Pine Bluff. He is also a member of Solomon Temple Missionary Baptist Church at Sherrill. He is the son of Linda and Leon Harris Jr., and Eddie and Lorraine Bell.

• Alex Ladd — Alex came to Pack 569 as a Tiger Cub. For his Eagle project Alex re-striped the parking lot and re-painted fire lanes and disabled parking spaces at Jack Robey Junior High School. He is a ninth-grader at Jack Robey Junior High, where he is class vice president, a member of the band, the football team, Jack Robey Jr. High Men’s Golf Team, and Civic Minded Club. He is interested in technology, music and physical science. Alex plans to attend Hendrix College and graduate with a medical science degree and pursue a career in toxicology. He is a member of Old St. James MBC, where he serves as a junior usher and attends Sunday School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Allen Ladd.

• Isaiah Kirk Solomon — Isaiah is an eighth-grade student at Robert F. Morehead Middle School, where he is enrolled in Environmental and Spatial Technology (E.A.S.T), a class that motivates students to work with new technology that encourages creativity. His Eagle Scout Project consisted of refurbishing patio furniture and planting shrubbery in pots on the patio of TOPPS Inc. (Targeting Our People’s Priorities with Service.) Isaiah is a member of the Indiana Street Baptist Church, where he is active in the youth department and youth choir. He’s also a member of the Consolidated St. Marion Baptist District Youth Choir. He is the son of Deborah and Jonathan Kirk Solomon. His grandparents are L.K. and Vera Solomon.

• Maleek Dwan Ware — Maleek is a 10th-grader at Watson Chapel High School, where he is a member of the chamber choir and the mock trial team. He had been enrolled at Ridgway Christian School for the past four years. His service project was relocating four K-3 and K-4 classrooms from Ridgway Christian School to First Assembly of God Church due to increased enrollment at the school. Maleek is a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, where he actively serves in the youth department as a junior devotion leader, usher, and choir member. He is the son of Michael and Sharon Jones Ware of Pine Bluff.
