The Junior League of Pine Bluff will host the statewide "All Arkansas Conference" on Friday and Saturday at multiple locations in Pine Bluff, including the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St., and the First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Sixth Ave.

The opening reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday at the Arts & Science Center. League members are invited to listen to Legoria Payton and Friends during the center’s monthly Live@5 music series.

Registration and breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. The opening session will include speaker, Brandi Johnston, development coordinator for the Arkansas Rice Depot. Various workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Debe Hollingsworth will make a lunch presentation on “Women in Leadership from noon to 1:30 p.m.

The Junior League of Pine Bluff is expecting nearly 50 women to attend from other leagues across the state, including Fort Smith, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas and Texarkana. The purpose of the conference is to help the women to network with members of Arkansas leagues and to gain valuable leadership training through various seminars put on with local speakers.

Junior League of Pine Bluff president-elect, Jennifer Kline, and president elect-elect, Amber Robinson, are co-chairs of the conference.
