The Pine Bluff High School Class of 1960 met recently at the Bonanza Steakhouse on Olive Street.

Robert Porter gave the blessing.

A happy birthday letter was passed around for everyone to write a birthday note to the class’ ninth grade study hall teacher, Inez Westbrook, for her 99th birthday. She is the mother of Peggy Westbrook White and mother-in-law of James White, both classmates of the class of 1960.

The group had a memorial service for two classmates, Floy Black Bates and Clyde Caughman, who passed away recently. Memorials were sent to the organizations of the families’ choice.

Doug Smith gave the prayer for the two classmates who passed away, and three classmates who have had family members pass away.

Those attending were Jerry and Ruby Wessels Poteet, Mike Barbarotto, Mary Ann Sweeney Greenlee, Bill and Norma Ridgway Ray, Janice Helvie Tiner, Robert and Lenora Porter, Marie Brown Jones, Arlie and Barbara Rogers Langrell, Doug and Linda Smith and Barbara Petty Rushing.

The next get-together will be held at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Bonanza Steakhouse. All classmates are urged to come and enjoy the fun and fellowship.
