Cindy Richardsonís home in White Hall was the setting for the most recent business meeting of the Xi Delta Beta Sorority.
As president, Richardson called the meeting to order, then opening ritual was read and the roll was called with six members out of seven present. Communications were read from the International Office and the treasurerís report was given.
All members were glad to hear that the yearbook was complete. The City Council report was given with the main topic of discussion the Valentine Ball and its location. The number one choice is the room at the arsenal and it should be available. The Valentine Tea was discussed again and the home of Cindy Richardson was again suggested as a possible location. Also, a room at the Holiday Inn was mentioned.
A warming dinner of corn chowder and rolls was served and for dessert the members were treated to a selection of coffees and cake. Carol Conner presented the program for the evening on the history of the Christmas tree.
Members were reminded of the next meeting and of the Christmas Social to be held at the home of Debby and Richard Davies. Then the dollar pot drawing was held, the closing ritual was read, the secret sister Christmas gifts were exchanged and the evening came to an end.
