LITTLE ROCK — The Little Rock home of the bride’s sister was the setting on Jan. 26, 2013, for the marriage of Laurel Dunklin Pelton and Corey Thomas Davenport.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Weaver Pelton of Pine Bluff and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hailey Dunklin, of Pine Bluff, and Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Pelton of Fayetteville.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hudson Davenport of Sheridan and the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Davenport of Russellville, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wallace of Choudrant, La.
The Rev. Fred H. Arnold performed the double-ring ceremony. Wedding music was presented by a string quartet.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an off-shoulder ivory gown made of silk shantung taffeta featuring a draped bodice and fitted A-line skirt. She also wore an heirloom rosepoint veil which was worn by her mother when she married.
Hailey Pelton Easley, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and Alex Davenport, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Austin Johns Easley, niece of the bride, performed the duties of flower girl.
The couple will reside in Little Rock.
