Three Pine Bluff students have been awarded scholarships to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Three Pine Bluff students have been awarded scholarships to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Yamnah Sargent and Blaise Hale each were awarded Academic Scholarships from the UAPB Office of Recruitment at the . To be eligible for the Academic Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 21 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Academic Scholarship pays full tuition.

Sargent is the daughter of Yaminah Hawkins and Brent Sargent, and will graduate in May from Pine Bluff High School.

Hale is the daughter of Jarvis and Carnitris Hale, and will graduate in May from Pine Bluff High School.

Chelsea Osademe was awarded a Chancellorís Scholarship. To be eligible for the Chancellorís Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 21, be the Valedictorian or Salutatorian of their high school class and a have cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The Chancellorís Scholarship pays for tuition, fees, books and room and board.

Osademe is the daughter of Shelia Osademe, and will graduate in May from Dollarway High School.
