Head of the Class Childcare & Learning Center at Monticello will sponsor “Mini Miracle March II…Say Boo to Breast Cancer,” Oct. 31 at 10 a.m.

According to co-owner/operator of the business, Rev. Shay Gillespie, the students, staff members, parents and friends of the center will march around the block that surrounds the facility.

“Because this was really successful last year, we are again taking this opportunity to say to the world that it’s never too early to teach young people about the seriousness of breast cancer,” Gillespie said.

Primarily 3 and 4 year old students will carry banners and signs, while many of the younger children will launch balloons, shake pom-poms, sing, chant and use megaphones in observance of the occasion.

Adults have been invited to walk with younger children or take them by vehicle. Even though orange is the “color of the month,” Breast Cancer Awareness Month will allow for staff members to get in extra study time on the color pink.
