Pine Bluff School District will host the second annual Go Pink for the Cure Day to bring about awareness of mammography and remove barriers that prevent women from seeking mammograms. It will also be a day to support district personnel or family members who may be cancer survivors.

Pine Bluff School District will host the second annual Go Pink for the Cure Day to bring about awareness of mammography and remove barriers that prevent women from seeking mammograms. It will also be a day to support district personnel or family members who may be cancer survivors.

The event will be held Oct. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the district office, 512 S. Pine St. A team walk will be held at 11:30 a.m. and guests include Julie Bridgforth, director of physician recruitment at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

A catfish lunch will be served and the cost is $10. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
