Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy classes will now meet at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Adult Education Center located at 414 Walnut St. in Pine Bluff.

Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy classes will now meet at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Adult Education Center located at 414 Walnut St. in Pine Bluff.

Classes will meet Monday through Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. and Mondays from 6-8 p.m.

The Arkansas Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy Program was developed by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, Adult Education Division.

WAGE is business and industry driven. Local business and industry partners give added consideration in hiring to WAGE Certificate holders.

The WAGE training is free to business and industry partners, incumbent workers and those seeking employment. This is a program for those who are seeking additional job skills or would like to change occupations, according to WAGE Coordinator Leah Irvin.

The program is flexible. Participants can enroll any time and exit when individual goals are completed. Certificates are available in Employability, Industrial, Clerical, Customer Service I, Customer Service II and Bank Teller.
