Jasmine Johnson of Milwaukee, Wis., was recently awarded a University Scholarship from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Jasmine Johnson of Milwaukee, Wis., was recently awarded a University Scholarship from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The daughter of Jennifer Allen, she graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School with a grade point average of 3.82. Her main high school activities included Student Council, Inertia Club, basketball, and serving as both the president of Top Teens of America and the vice president of the National Honor Society. She will major in biology and minor in chemistry at UAPB with plans to become a pharmacist.

To be eligible for the University Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 23 or above and a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The University Scholarship pays full tuition and room and board.
