Anyone wishing to vote in the Nov. 6 general election has until Monday, Oct. 8, to register at the Jefferson County Clerk's Office at the Jefferson County Courthouse between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
Anyone wishing to vote in the Nov. 6 general election has until Sunday, Oct. 9,*** to register at the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office at the Jefferson County Courthouse between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
Early voting for the general election will be weekdays, Oct. 22 through Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m; and Monday, Nov. 5 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Voting for the general election is Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. at assigned polling locations.
School board runoff
Early voting for the Oct. 9 Pine Bluff School Board runoff election for Zone 4 and Zone 6 begins Tuesday and runs through Oct. 8 at the county clerk’s office between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
The runoff election is set for Oct. 9 between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
School board candidates are:
Zone 4: Henry Dabner Jr. and Lee Meadows.
Zone 6: Donna Barnes and Leon Jones Sr.
School board runoff election day polling sites include:
New St. Hurricane Baptist Church, 3319 S. Ohio: precincts 31, 32, 120, 121, 122, 123, 126, 208, 209, 210, 213, 217, 220 and 223.
Central Presbyterian Church, 6300 Trinity Drive: precincts 222, 224, 225, and 226.
Highway 15 Volunteer Fire Department, 10672 U.S. 63 South: precincts 29, 30 and 50.
Green Meadows Baptist Church, 4201 U.S. 65 South: precincts 26, 27, 28, 33, 36, 37, 40 and 42.
