The Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Inc. of Pine Bluff and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are sponsoring an observance of National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

The Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Inc. of Pine Bluff and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are sponsoring an observance of National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

The event will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock.

The event will include a celebration, activities and entertainment free.

Free HIV tests will be available.

“Learn about the prevention of HIV and the importance of getting tested,” a spokesman said. “No needles…just a quick mouth swab…HIV results in 20 minutes!”
