Jasmine Moore, a senior at Pine Bluff High School, received an internship with the Arkansas Mentoring and Networking Association to the University of Iowa through the George Washington Carver Program.

Jasmine Moore, a senior at Pine Bluff High School, received an internship with the Arkansas Mentoring and Networking Association to the University of Iowa through the George Washington Carver Program.

During the internship, June 16 to July 28, Moore will attend seminars, complete a research project, prepare an abstract, a report and present her work at the research symposium at the end of the program. She will receive a $1,500 stipend at the end of the internship.

Moore was also chosen as a 2012 Girls State delegate held May 27 to June 1 at Harding University at Searcy and is a member of the Ivy Center for Education.

Moore is the daughter of Reola Moore and Reginald Moore.
