Simmons First National Bank staff Melissa Barber, Michael Coleman and Garianne Smith have been promoted to consumer banking officers, said Chairman and CEO J. Thomas May in a press release.

Simmons First National Bank staff Melissa Barber, Michael Coleman and Garianne Smith have been promoted to consumer banking officers, said Chairman and CEO J. Thomas May in a press release.

Melissa Barber joined Simmons First in 2005 as a financial services representative and currently holds the position of branch manager for the Little Rock region.

Barber holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas and has completed numerous internal training courses.

Michael Coleman has been with Simmons First since 2002 and holds the position of branch manager for the Little Rock region.

Coleman graduated from high school in Albuquerque, N.M., and has attended Eastern New Mexico University, Eastern Arizona Community College and Lamar Community College. He has completed numerous internal bank-related training courses.

Garianne Smith joined Simmons First in 2009 as a financial services representative and was promoted to a branch manager in the Little Rock region earlier this year.

Smith holds an Associate of Arts degree from Southeast Arkansas Community College in Pine Bluff.
