A 2011 audit of the Pine Bluff Civic Auditorium and Advertising and Tourist Promotion commissions was unanimously approved in a joint finance meeting of the panels on Tuesday.

“It’s a good, clean audit,” Convention Center Director Bob Purvis said prior to the vote. “There were no findings and the auditor bragged about a job well done by (Convention Center Comptroller) Jessica Ross in her preparation.”

The audit, performed by Certified Public Accountant Alan K. Minor of Pine Bluff, showed the commissions had end-of-year assets of $3,073,207. Total program revenues were $1,612,702 – $15,298 below the budgeted amount of $1,628,000.

Commissioners also reviewed a Convention Center financial report on the month of January 2012. The report indicated total liabilities and equity of $3,096,94, and $117,000 in recognized advertising and tourist promotion tax revenues for the month.
