Police are asking the public for help identifying two men and two women who allegedly used a stolen credit card number to purchase more than $1,000 in merchandise at the Walmart Supercenter in Pine Bluff.

Pine Bluff police were first alerted to the case after a Las Vegas woman was contacted by her credit card company about a suspicious purchase made March 4 at the Pine Bluff Walmart, Detective Larry Gailey said. The woman confirmed with her credit card company that she had not made the purchase and contacted the Las Vegas Police Department, which in turn contacted Pine Bluff police.

Gailey said police were able to compare purchase records with surveillance video to pin-point the group that had used the credit card number to make the purchases. They now need help from the public identifying the four people pictured in still photos from the surveillance video.

Gailey said the department also would like to speak to the suspects because they also used other credit card numbers without having the actual credit card, the same way they allegedly used the Las Vegas woman’s credit card number.
