The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will host a Graduate School Informational Day on April 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Henderson-Young Business Building. The day will include informational sessions with speakers on the graduate school process, writing a personal statement and a graduate panel discussion with current graduate students, McNair alums and young women and men with doctorate degrees.

The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will host a Graduate School Informational Day on April 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Henderson-Young Business Building. The day will include informational sessions with speakers on the graduate school process, writing a personal statement and a graduate panel discussion with current graduate students, McNair alums and young women and men with doctorate degrees.

The speakers will include Sederick Rice, assistant professor of biology at UAPB. Graduate School Representatives from the University of Mississippi, Harding University, Arkansas State University, UAPB, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Henderson State University, University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Arkansas will be in attendance to provide information about graduate programs and graduate funding opportunities.

A free GRE Practice Test will be administered from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. If you are interested in taking the practice test, you must register with Kaplan online at www.kaptest.com/practice, call 1-800-KAP-TEST, or text “PRACTICE” to 30364. Please register early to ensure your space.
