A reported disturbance Saturday night ended with the arrest of a Pine Bluff woman who allegedly pushed another woman, resulting in visible signs of injury on the victim.

Sharon Davis, 50, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor third-degree domestic battery on March 20, will have to post a $5,000 bond to be released from the county detention center after Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ruled Tuesday that she could be charged with second offense third-degree domestic battery, a felony.

Detective Sam Atkinson reported that police had to wrestle with Davis to place her under arrest after being sent to the reported disturbance at 9:30 p.m.

In addition to setting the bond for Davis, Kearney told her to have no contact with the alleged victim until the case is settled, and to come back to court Aug. 14 at 9 a.m.
