No one was injured when an 18-wheeler caught fire on the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter about 11:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Lt. Harold Clark, spokesman for the Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services Department. The driver, who wasn't identified, reported that he saw sparks under the cab of the truck, grabbed the fire extinguisher then saw flames and called 911. The cab was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. Although the trailer of the truck was carrying chemicals, flames never reached the trailer, Clark said. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
