A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Wednesday after a crystal-like substance, that field tested positive for methamphetamine, was reportedly found in her house on Daniels Road.

During a court hearing Thursday, Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said Stacy Vail, 40, was taken into custody after investigators from the Tri-County Drug Task Force and officers from the Pine Bluff Police Vice and Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at 210 Daniels Road.

Drug Task Force Investigator John Bean reported that Vail was detained in a bedroom of the residence, and investigators reportedly found numerous containers of methamphetamine, along with glass smoking pipes, scales, plastic bags and spoons with a powdery substance on them, and other items.

Kizer said the house also had security cameras.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $2,500 bond for Vail after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vail said she would hire her own attorney and was told to come back to court March 15 at 9. a.m.
