A Pine Bluff man who was number two on the list of Jefferson County’s Most Wanted Felons last month was arrested without incident Friday afternoon.

Sheriff’s Capt. Bernard Adams said Kenneth Wayne Moore Jr., 26, was taken into custody after deputies received information that Moore was at the probation and parole office in the Jefferson Square Shopping Center.

An alias bench warrant had been issued for Moore on Sept. 14, 2011 after he failed to appear for a probation review hearing in court the previous day. He had originally been charged with criminal attempt first-degree murder and first-degree battery.

Moore was also wanted by authorities in Sherwood on charges of DWI, failure to appear, refusing a breath alcohol test, driving on a suspended driver’s license, disorderly conduct, fleeing, terroristic threatening and resisting arrest.

He was taken to the adult detention center where he will be held without bond pending an expected court appearance Monday.
