One of Jefferson County’s Most Wanted felony suspects was arrested Monday in Georgia and will be held there on several charges before being brought back here.

Sheriff’s Capt. Bernard Adams said Herbert Yisrael Wash III, 19, was charged with criminal impersonation after he gave Georgia law enforcement authorities a false name and other incorrect information.

Wash was number five on the list of most wanted felony suspects reported in December and was wanted on six counts of aggravated assault and for committing a terroristic act.

The warrant for Wash was issued Nov. 16, 2011.

Adams said Wash will be held for Jefferson County authorities after the charges against him are taken care of in Georgia.
