A Pine Bluff hotel manager died Friday in Memphis following injuries in a car wreck last week.

Hadrian Lesser, 39, was the general manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites at Pine Bluff, according to a hotel spokesman.

Lesser was injured in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 in Prairie County on Wednesday.

A preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police indicated Dr. Jacob Brooks pronounced Lesser dead at 2:05 p.m. Friday at the Med in Memphis.

Cpl. Rick Hickman reported that Lesser was eastbound on the interstate when the 2009 Volvo he was driving struck the back of a GMC pickup driven by Martin Roberts, 45, of Redford, Mich., who had stopped because of a traffic backup.

Both Roberts and Wilber Holiday, 29, of Oak Harbor, Wash., who was driving the third vehicle involved in the accident, were injured and taken to hospitals at North Little Rock and Memphis.

The accident was reported at 6:56 p.m. at the 190 mile marker on the interstate.
