Pine Bluff Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting incident just before midnight Tuesday that sent a man to the hospital with what were described as “serious and life threatening” injuries.

Capt. Greg Shapiro said Drue Griffin, 31, was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries after he was found at No. 1 Tulip Cove at 11:59 p.m.

According to Shapiro, this was the fourth time Griffin has been the victim of a shooting in less than two years.

Previous shooting incidents include one on Sept. 27 at West 18th Avenue and Ash Street, a second on April 2 at the Three Gables nightclub and another on Feb. 2, 2010, in the 600 block of West 30th Avenue.

Shapiro said no suspects have been identified and anyone with information should contact the Detective Division at 730-2090.

All calls will be kept confidential and a reward is available for information that leads to an arrest.
