A reported traffic accident Tuesday resulted in the arrest of a Star City man who allegedly struck his wife's vehicle with his own on Main Street.
A reported traffic accident Tuesday resulted in the arrest of a Star City man who allegedly struck his wifeís vehicle with his own on Main Street.
Terry Kearney, 31, allegedly hit the vehicle his wife, a four-month-old child and another man were in on the front passenger side after they had left the Comprehensive Care clinic, Detective Michael Roberts said in a probable cause affidavit.
The wife reported that Kearney had called her and threatened to ram her vehicle and as she was driving down Main Street, Kearney reportedly crossed into her lane and struck her vehicle.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Terry Kearney (no relation) after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with three counts of aggravated assault.
Judge Kearney also ordered Terry Kearney to have no contact with the wife, child, or the man that was in the vehicle with them until the case is settled.
The Public Defenderís Office was appointed to represent Terry Kearney.
