Jira Galloway, 19, also allegedly tried to run over the manager of Brookshire’s on South Camden Road with her vehicle, Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said during a court hearing for Galloway on Wednesday.

Detective Jay Funderburg reported that Galloway left her cell phone, identification and check behind when she fled from the store. She was stopped by police north of Rison.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $25,000 bond for Galloway after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with forgery and aggravated assault.

Kearney appointed the Public Defender’s Office to represent Galloway and told her to come back to court Jan. 18 at 9 a.m.
