STAR CITY — Daisie Mae Kitchens of Star City, died Saturday at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. She was born March 27, 2013 in Pine Bluff to Larry and Stormy Hayes Kitchens Jr. of Star City.
STAR CITY — Daisie Mae Kitchens of Star City, died Saturday at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. She was born March 27, 2013 in Pine Bluff to Larry and Stormy Hayes Kitchens Jr. of Star City.
Other survivors include four sisters, Destiny Kitchens, Chloe Kitchens, La Rae Kitchens, and twin-sister Dallas Kitchens, all of Star City; paternal grandparents, Karla Kitchens McTigrit and Charley of Tyro; maternal grandmother, Lois Ross of Star City; paternal great grandparents, Carl and Barbara Holloway of Star City; aunts, April Brandon, Bambi Hayes, both of Star City, Ann Ross of Hot Springs; and cousins, Shawn Ross, Tristan Ross, Johnathan Brandon, Garrett Hayes, Brianna Brandon.
Preceding her in death were her paternal grandfather, Larry Kitchens Sr.; maternal grandfather, Guy Evans; paternal great grandparents, Hubert and Lourena Kitchens; maternal great grandparents, Dottie Davis, Ervin Sawtelle, and Maggie and Rubert Evans.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel in Star City. Bro. Carl Gene Holloway and Bro. Melvin Baxter will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Lake Cemetery at Dumas. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Kitchens Jr., Garrett Hayes, Johnathan Brandon, Charley “Pop Pop” McTigrit, J.J. Pacheco, and David Holloway.
