Faye Anne Cates Martin, 72, formerly of Watson died Thursday. She was born Sept. 24, 1940 in Watson. She was of Pentecostal Faith, a retired Administrative Assistant for Suntrust Banks. Preceding her in death were her father, Jimmy Cates, a son, Richard Hocking and sister, Barbara Cates. Survivors include her mother, Martha Yates Carter, Dermott, two sons, Pete Hocking, McGehee, Andy Martin, Tampa, Fla.; Daughter, Libby Cox, Monticello, sister, Betty Jo Loyd, Corinth, Miss.; Seven Grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
