Kristian Charles “Ka Ce” Turner was born August 4, 1984, to Deborah Turner and William Harold Stewart in Hot Springs, Ark.

Kristian graduated from Rison High School in 2002.

He attended UAPB.

He was a member of Gate City Lodge#42 PHA, Texarkana, Arkansas Masons.

He worked for the Eris Security Company, which contracted to the Department of Homeland Security.

Kristian passed away April 26, 2013.

He was preceded in death by William Stewart, and Elizabeth Anderson. His grandmother, Estella McGehee, whom he adored and upon whom he doted, preceded Kristian in death as well. His grandfather, Charles Turner, passed before Kristian’s birth. Kristian was also preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Hattie Rogers, whom Kristian rescued from a burning house when he was 12 years old.

Kristian leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Deborah Turner; his sister, Joycelyn Turner; his aunt, Ella and uncle Larry Holmes; his cousins; and brothers, Charles (Erica) Holmes, Rodrick Holmes, Durrayl Charles, and his longtime companion and friend, Simone Collins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the New Life Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Bobby Young officiating.

Interment will be in the Humble Hope Cemetery in Rison.

Visitation is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, at the P.K. Miller Mortuary.

Kristian will lie in repose, Saturday, at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
