MALVERN — Marvin Wooldridge Sr., age 70 of Malvern passed away January 28, 2012 in the Arkansas Hospice Center, St. Joseph's Mercy Center, in Hot Springs, AR. He was born July 12, 1941 in Rison, Ark. to the late Burnis and Velma Hudson Wooldridge. He was a machinist for Anthony Timberland and of the Baptist faith. Marvin loved to fish, garden and ride his great-grandson Connor on the Tractor. Marvin also loved his dog Barney who was his best friend.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Wooldridge and a brother and sister.

Survivors include his wife to whom he married on September 4, 1959, Martha Wooldridge; three sons, Marty and his wife Alesha of Malvern, Mark and his wife Pam of Little Rock, and Marvin Jr. of Portland, Tenn.; Also nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening January 30, at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, at the Gospel Light Church with Bro. Jon Horton officiating.

Pallbearers will be Heath Loy, Elliot Hideleson, Johnny Scott, Jeff Blake, Stacy Shepard and Rob Lankford. Entombment will be in the Rockport Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
