WRIGHT — Jay Lynn Oswalt, 52, of Wright, Ark. went to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 26, 2012. He was born in Sikeston, Mo., February 14, 1960 to J.L. and Patsy Oswalt.

WRIGHT — Jay Lynn Oswalt, 52, of Wright, Ark. went to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 26, 2012. He was born in Sikeston, Mo., February 14, 1960 to J.L. and Patsy Oswalt.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bilbo and Ruvelle Oswalt; maternal grandparents, Lee and Edna Burchfield.

Jay is survived by his parents; two sons, Jeremy Oswalt and his wife Tamica of White Hall, Ark. and Joshua Oswalt of Cabot, Ark.; one daughter, Joanna Johnson and her husband Chad of Kennett, Mo.; five grandchildren, Alayna Gibbs, Alec Gibbs and Cayen Oswalt all of White Hall; Shaylee Fann and Abby Johnson both of Kennett, Mo.; one sister, Leanne Knisely and her husband Phil of Overland Park, Kan.; one niece, Sarah Knisely and one nephew Garrett Griffin both of Overland Park, Kan. along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He loved his family and was an avid outdoorsman. Jay was a retired member of the Local 690 Carpenter’s Union. Jay was a member of the Plum Bayou Baptist Church.

Services are being handled by Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Plum Bayou Baptist Church in Wright, Ark., with Bro. Garry Alverson officiating. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Ark.
