WARREN — Cloves Maxine Brown Baker Doss, age 87, of Warren, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2012. Born March 24, 1924 in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Burl Brown, Sr. and Myrtle Vaughn Brown. A homemaker and a nurse's aide at Pine Lodge at Warren, Mrs. Doss devoted her life to caring for others.

WARREN — Cloves Maxine Brown Baker Doss, age 87, of Warren, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2012. Born March 24, 1924 in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Burl Brown, Sr. and Myrtle Vaughn Brown. A homemaker and a nurse’s aide at Pine Lodge at Warren, Mrs. Doss devoted her life to caring for others.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Marl Baker in 1978 and Raymond Doss in 1998; a son, Frank Baker; brother, Harry Brown; sisters, Martha Sue Durey, and Evelene Ozment.

Mrs. Doss is survived by eight sons, Edward Hales (Elisa), Tommy Hales, Billy Hales, Donnie Baker (Sri), Curtis Baker (Pauline), Marvin Baker (Vera), Charlie Baker (Sharon), and James Baker (Helen); five daughters, Millie Brugan (Bob), Barbara Perry (Weldon), Martha Jackson, Marlene Barnes (Robert), and Linda Smith (Ernie); brothers, Vic Brown (Murphy), Burl Brown, Jr. (Judy), Johnny Brown (Kay), and Dewayne Ozment (Brenda); sisters, Bet Milholland and Linda Durey (Morris); numerous grand and great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Bishop James Baker officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Outlaw Cemetery in Bradley County.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-7 at the funeral home.
