FORDYCE Raymond Robert Clements, 92, of Fordyce, formerly of Kingsland, died Saturday, October 20, 2012. He was born September 13, 1920 in New Edinburg to the late Clifton Clements and Myra Franklin Clements Best. He served as a deacon at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and in the Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Maxine Hicks Clements, son Leon Clements, and three brothers.

He is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Eeckhoudt and husband John of Pine Bluff, and Jo Rogers of Pine Bluff; three grandchildren, Jason and Heather Rogers of Pine Bluff, Krista and David Peppers of Conway, and Carlin and Scott Reeder of Benton, La.; and six great grandchildren, Jake and Clay Rogers both of Pine Bluff, Catherine Rose and Sophie Claire Peppers both of Conway, and Blaine and Peyton Reeder both of Benton, La.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at McCoy Cemetery.
