HARDIN — Wesley Glenn Perdue, 63, of Hardin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 26, 2011 at his home. He was born July 10, 1948 in Caney, Kan. to the late Clarence Glenn and Lila Lee Hatton Perdue. He graduated from Augusta High School in Kansas and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was an achve member of Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and putting puzzles together.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Clarence Glenn Perdue; Mother, Lila Lee Hatton Perdue; brother, Charles E. Perdue.

He is survived by his daughter, Mandy Perdue Anthes, son-n-law Aaron; two granddaughters, Hallie and Abby; three sisters, Glenda Holt of Wichita, Kan., Lori Chapman of Hardin, and Betty Gober of White Hall; two brothers, James Perdue of Pine Bluff and Michael Perdue of Sheridan; and was loved by several nieces and nephews, a host of friends and his devoted friends and caregivers, Willis Baker and Celestine ‘Marie’ Mattox.

Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Kelley officiating.

The family will be at their home on Highway 270.
