Aaliyah Block and Iesha Smith each scored 12 points for Drew Central (19-4, 5-0 in 8-3A).

Hamburg 53, Warren 52, OT

WARREN — A Hamburg basket at the end of regulation sent the game in overtime, and the Lady Lions managed to run out the final 3 seconds of the extra period after a Lady Jacks layup to take a one-point victory.

Tyshina Smith had 13 to lead Warren and Yakima Hegler added 11. The score was tied at 44 at the end of regulation.

BOYS

Hamburg 59, Warren 54

WARREN — The Lumberjacks outscored the Lions 26-14 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to break through for their first win.

Kaleel Thomas scored 20 points and VonEric Gonder also had 13 to lead the Lumberjacks (0-14, 0-7 in 8-4A). Hamburg improved to 7-12 and 3-5.

STAR CITY — Behind David Beasley’s 12 points and Jayshon Williams’ seven, the Colts improved to 17-2 on the season.

Watson Chapel 44, Little Rock Mills 33

At Watson Chapel, the Wildcats (8-6, 4-4 River City Conference) evened their conference record with a victory.

They were led by Aaron Moore with 13 points, Kyran Thomas with 11 and Leonard Robinson with 10.
