MOUNTAIN HOME — Chelsea Payne and Leonicia Hart scored 12 and 11 points, respectively, and Watson Chapel bounced back from a one-point loss to Fayetteville on Tuesday to beat Sheridan 54-33 in the Ultimate Ford/1st Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament.

The Lady Wildcats led 18-9 after one period, 34-20 at halftime and 40-22 through three.

Pine Bluff played Greene County Tech in a tournament at Wynne on Wednesday, but no score was reported.

Monticello 64, Dollarway 14

MONTICELLO — The host team held the Lady Cardinals to two points each in the second and third periods in a first-round rout Wednesday.

Shankqua Bolden scored 10 of her 17 points in the second quarter, helping the Lady Billies build a 48-8 halftime lead. Chelsey Rhodes also had 14 points for Monticello, which will play the Stuttgart/Hermitage winner at 7:30 tonight.

Jacqueline Rice led Dollarway with five points. Dollarway will play McGehee at 2:30 p.m. today.

Drew Central 52, Warren 26

The Lady Pirates improved to 12-3 behind Aaliyah Block’s 17 points and Jerica Binns’ 13.

Alex Phillips led the Lady Lumberjacks with 11 points.

Drew Central will play Little Rock McClellan at 5 p.m. today. Warren will meet the Stuttgart/Hermitage loser at noon today.

Little Rock McClellan 61, McGehee 21

McClellan held McGehee without a field goal in the second quarter and built a 34-8 lead at halftime.

Monticello 63, Fordyce 45

MONTICELLO — Torry Butler scored 23 of his 26 points in the first half, Brooks Jones added 11 points, and the Billies drew a semifinal meeting with McClellan at 8:45 tonight with an 18-point victory.

The Redbugs, who opened the tournament with a play-in victory over Hermitage, was led by Thaxton Tolbert’s 18 points. Markel Bulliner also had 11 points for Fordyce, which will play the Bastrop (La.)/Hermitage loser at 1:15 p.m. today.

Drew Central 61, Rison 28

The Pirates jumped on a Wildcats team that also played earlier in the day, leading 20-6 through one quarter, 33-13 at halftime and 48-23 after three periods.

Damarius Thomas had 16 pionts, Dominique Rhodes 14 and Edmond Hunter nine for Drew Central, which will play Marion at 6:15 tonight.

A.J. Smith and Jerry Marshall each had six points to lead Rison.

Rison 30, Warren 27

In one of the morning play-in games, Rison held off a late rally by Warren to advance to the quarterfinals and meet Drew Central.

Quanterio Heath scored 10 points and A.J. Smith eight points to lead Rison.

Warren outscored Rison 14-6 in the final quarter, thanks in part to five of Kaleel Thomas’ 16 points.

Warren will play McGehee at 10:45 a.m. today for the right to play Rison at 3:45 p.m. today as well.

Marion 53, McGehee 44

The Class 6A Patriots had a hard time pulling away from the 4A Owls, but Marion earned a berth in the semifinal against Drew Central behind Worm Boyd’s 16 points and Darion Barnes’ nine.

Tracy Lawson scored 10 points to lead the Owls, while Maurice Hudson poured in nine.

Fordyce 57, Hermitage 31

Markel Bulliner scored 13 of his 17 points in the third quarter of the first morning play-in game as the Redbugs drew a quarterfinal meeting with host Monticello.

Thaxton Tolbert had 10 points and Bobby Hentz added seven for Fordyce, which led 24-8 at halftime. Jacob Johnston had 10 points and Raltael Watson eight for the Hermits.

Hermitage will play Bastrop (La.) 9:30 a.m. today. Bastrop lost to McClellan 85-54 Wednesday.
